GRAPHICAL USER INTERACTION (GUI)

}GUI is a human-computer interface that uses windows, icons, and menus and which can be manipulated by a mouse.

}GUI stands in sharp contrast to the command-line interface.
}
}Point and Click interface.





Most of the modern or latest electronic gadgets use GUI.
GUI is a combination of graphical and textual interaction that uses button, icons etc.

Anything which is seen on the screen is called an object.





Objects are used by the user to do some task and the operation performed by the user on an object is called an action.

The action may result in the modification of the object by selecting it or manipulating it.





COMMAND LINE INTERACTION (CLI)

}Human – computer interaction through commands is called Command-Line Interaction.
}
}There is no icons or any graphical object in command-line interaction.
}

}Type and Enter.


Command line interaction is found in old electrical devices.

CLI is not easy to use and attractive, so people avoid using command line interaction.
In CLI there are no icons or buttons, you have to type command for every action you want to take.
